He might be the future king of England, but it also looks like he just can’t catch a break no matter how hard he tries.
Of course, we are talking about Prince William as it seems like he is dealing with yet another PR failure.
This time around it has to do with his EarthShot Awards in South Africa. Unfortunately for the Prince of Wales, none of the major networks and publications from around the world covered his event.
That’s because all eyes were more focused on the presidential election in the United States. A lot of critics are calling it poor timing but others say that Prince William should have known better on his end.
For Prince William, this is just another example of how his team has mismanaged things yet again. When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle traveled to South Africa back in 2019, their trip was a massive success, even though they also got attention for that interview they did in which Meghan said that no one ever asked her how she was feeling anymore.
But for Prince William, it’s the exact opposite. Not only is everyone ignoring him and his Earthshot initiative, but there were also protests on his way out with a lot of people holding signs that said he wasn’t welcomed in their country.
Unfortunately, there isn’t much that Prince William can do right now. The only thing he can do, however, is hope that he’s not going to deal with yet another PR disaster in the future. But the only way to make sure that doesn’t happen is if he gets rid of the people that are working for him right now.
After all, he is the next king of England and the last person that should be ignored by the press.
