General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, November 7 tease devastating regrets, sorrowful grief and conning a con! Lucas Jones (Van Hansin) shares his devastated regrets, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) her sorrowful grief, and Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) tries conning a con!
At home, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) finds herself second-guessing a choice she made at work during a conversation with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
She confides in Curtis that allowing Lucas to perform surgery on his sister was a mistake, despite all the necessary approvals being granted by Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Earlier, she had spoken with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson), who believed Lucas acted appropriately and defended him as a physician.
Portia isn’t alone in her reconsideration; many wish they could rewind time and alter their past actions. However, the autopsy results are still pending, and they might uncover unexpected revelations that could change everything!
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Lucas opens up to his ex-husband, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). With a heavy heart, Lucas expresses his devastated regrets, suggesting that he could be responsible for his sister’s death.
After poring over medical texts and comparing them to Sam’s hospital records, he is haunted by the possibility of a grave error. Could Brad assist in obtaining a swift copy of the toxicology report that Portia had requested?
Or will they be left in suspense until the complete autopsy results are released, just like everyone else?
Elsewhere, at the WSB Port Charles office, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) confides in Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) that she has chosen to trust him—hoping he won’t let her down!
Carly rushed to him after witnessing Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) abduct Sasha right in front of her. Brennan quickly turned to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who sprang into action, immediately alerting Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms).
Carly was taken aback to learn that Sasha is actually Holly’s daughter and that she had deceived everyone about her mother’s fate. Yet, Sasha had exaggerated the story about her mother being dead to Carly, it being more like Holly was dead to her; what was the point of hiding her true identity?
At home with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Alexis grapples with her overwhelming sorrow, expressing to Sonny her inability to envision a life without her daughter.
In an attempt to distract herself, she rambles about funeral brochures and the aggressive marketing tactics of funeral homes, but Sonny gently steers her back to the heart of the matter.
A parent can never simply “move on” from the loss of a child, regardless of their age. Sonny understands this pain all too well, having experienced the loss of more than one child, including a baby with Sam years ago—baby Lila McCall (uncast infant). This tragedy occurred just before Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam began their relationship.
Sasha is determined to score her freedom, and she’s ready to betray her own mom to secure her own freedom. With a confident smile, she assures Sidwell that she’ll deliver what he desires!
However, Sasha is completely in the dark about the whereabouts of the diamonds Holly might possess, or if they even exist anymore.
It’s clear she’s stalling for time, employing some of the con artistry she wishes she hadn’t learned from Holly to protect herself. But conning a con artist isn’t always foolproof—will Sidwell buy her story, or will he see right through her ruse?
Holly has come clean to Robert about her actions, though she kept her diamond scheme under wraps. Now, she’s turning to Jason for assistance in a desperate ploy, insisting that she must retrieve her diamonds!
She had entrusted them to Sonny, who roped Jason into the situation, leading to a deal being struck. In a state of panic, Holly tracks Jason down at the Corinthos Coffee warehouse, desperate to reclaim her precious gems.
Will she reveal the real reason behind her urgent request, and if she does, will Sidwell even allow Sasha to be released-it’s a gamble with high stakes!
