The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, November 5 tease that Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) takes a break from worrying about her family members to surprise Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins).

What Traci does next shocks Alan and it could be because she goes all in on the notion of their mature affair. We haven’t forgotten that bad twin Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) could be pretending to be good twin Alan so Traci’s surprise may catch the man off guard.

Old habits die hard and eventually Traci makes time to counsel Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Both Traci and Martin talk to Billy at Crimson Lights and Traci pushes her brother to focus on his priorities.

She points out that Billy could lose his job at Abbott-Chancellor if he can’t bury the hatchet with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

Does Billy want to be solo but out in the cold or does he want to be a team player with Lily and placate his mom/boss Jill Abbott (Jess Walton)?

Billy does what he does best and makes a decision based on his own interests.

This means that Billy takes the hit and apologizes to Lily. Will she reconsider coming back to Abbott-Chancellor and be a team player, too? Lily has to think about this sudden turnabout.

Meanwhile, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) agrees to do Amy Lewis’ (Valarie Pettiford) bidding. She is dying and wants Nate to find her son, and his half-brother, before she dies.

It’s not like Nate could deny a dying woman—does she have more tricks up her sleeve? We shall see, but in the meantime, Nate agrees to track down the mysterious Damien.

Nate is not comfortable going on this search, and he realizes that he could be opening up a can of worms. Still, he trained as a doctor and his compassion gets the better of him. What could go wrong?
We predict that plenty could go wrong with this strange scenario. Amy seems sincere, but Nate has no way of knowing if she’s legit, short of demanding to see her medical records.

Somehow we think that Nate’s search for Damien will come with twists and turns he never expected. Will he have buyer’s remorse after taking up Amy’s challenge?
