Because her own husband Barack Obama was president for eight long years, Michelle had been there, done that, and doesn’t want to go back and prefers the life that she leads right now.

That said, there are still millions of adoring fans that would vote for Michelle in a heartbeat. 

But Michelle did say a few months ago that she had no interest in running for president. That said, it’s highly unlikely that she would have wanted to be someone else’s running mate, too.

Michelle knows that she could have been part of this movement, but it’s too late now. Her choice was made. While Kamala does have a very good chance at beating Donald Trump on election day, having Michelle by her side would have also blown her out of the water.

What’s Next For Michelle Obama And Kamala Harris?

Even though Kamala Harris still has a slight lead over her opponent, Donald Trump, even Michelle Obama knows that the polls mean nothing. She thinks that the vice president will step up her game and stop humiliating herself before Donald is given back the keys to the White House.

Earlier in the month Kamala had a beer on a late night talk show, got into a heated argument with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and lost and appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast to talk about anything but her future policies or what she has to offer for the country.

For Michelle Obama, she thinks that Kamala is making one mistake after another.
