General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, November 1 tease parent problems, grief and denial and help requested! Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) gives her parents problems, Drew Quartermaine’s (Cameron Mathison) in grief and denial, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) requests help!
In the cozy abode of Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), Georgie presents them with a parenting challenge.
Spinelli advises her not to rush into adulthood, all while sporting a tuxedo adorned with skeleton designs, and Maxie dazzles in a stylish maroon gown.
Interestingly, Georgie doesn’t appear to be in a Halloween spirit at all, leading to the possibility that she feels she’s outgrown trick-or-treating.
Yet, there’s a hint of shame in her eyes, reminiscent of someone caught sneaking cookies—perhaps it’s more about the treat bag! Let’s hope it’s nothing too concerning, and maybe Spinelli and Maxie are simply planning a fun Halloween costume party instead.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is deeply concerned as she anxiously inquires about her daughter, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) and ask “Is it Lulu?”
There’s a possibility that someone has delivered the shocking news of Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) unexpected death, and that someone could very well be her eldest grandson or his father!
Unfortunately, Rocco and Dante Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr, Dominic Zamprogna) found out when they returned from lunch and overheard a conversation between Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).
Rocco is feeling a sense of guilt, especially since he initially had mixed feelings about Dante and Sam’s engagement due to his feelings for his mother.
At Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) office, he finds himself grappling with his past once more as Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) makes an unexpected appearance.
He questions her intentions, likely referring to their previous agreement to keep their distance. While Holly may have family matters to address, Robert isn’t inclined to feel sorry for her regarding Sasha Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) rejection.
After all, Holly’s absence as a mother has significantly impacted Sasha’s life, more recently jeopardizing her chance at happiness with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Perhaps Holly believes that seeking Robert’s protection for Sasha, especially with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) pursuing her, will somehow atone for her past mistakes.
While Sam’s sisters, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), seem blissfully unaware of the heartbreaking news, they have returned to their usual squabbling.
In fact, Sam had even requested Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to keep them away from the hospital, a sentiment echoed by Alexis. Kristina appears visibly upset as she confronts Molly, demanding, “What is that supposed to mean?!”
It raises the question: what trivial matter will spark their next argument? And how will they react when they learn about Sam’s untimely death, especially when they need to rally together for their mother and each other?
Drew is clearly reeling from the devastating news of his ex-wife and the mother of his daughter’s passing. The shock and sorrow are palpable, evident in the tears welling up in both his and Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) eyes as they discuss the tragedy.
Drew expresses his disbelief, lamenting that things were never meant to end this way-he realizes that this is a crucial moment; his daughter will need him more than ever.
With Jason having sent Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Emily “Scout” Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) to Bobbie’s, it’s essential for both Drew and Jason to be present.
They must come together to break the heartbreaking news to Danny and Scout about their mother’s passing—perhaps Carly can offer Drew some guidance on how to navigate this difficult conversation.
Drew and Jason face an incredibly tough challenge as they prepare to break the news about Sam to their children. It’s Jason who took the initiative, reaching out to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) for advice on how to approach the situation.
Meanwhile, Drew was preoccupied, trying to manage a crisis with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Cody. In a poignant moment, young Scout stands outside Bobbie’s, asking, “Can we visit Mommy now?”
Her words resonate not just for herself but also for her brother; or perhaps she’s talking to Danny, as they’ve been waiting for quite some time.
Dante is currently confiding in his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), expressing his deep sense of guilt. He feels responsible for the tragic turn of events, and Sonny is fully aware of his son’s turmoil.
Dante is grappling with immense grief, especially since Sam was the only compatible donor for Lulu, and now she’s gone—though her death may have been unrelated.
The toxicology reports are still pending, and an autopsy hasn’t been performed yet; all they know is that she suffered a sudden heart attack. It was so shocking and unforeseen—one moment she was healthy, and the next, she was gone!
Jason is reaching out to someone for immediate assistance, seemingly desperate for clarity surrounding Sam’s death. Still reeling from the shock, much like everyone else, he found some solace in Elizabeth’s encouragement regarding informing Scout and Danny.
He might be having a conversation with Drew and Carly, who could have just arrived outside Bobbie’s. It looks like it will turn into a family gathering as they prepare to break the news to Scout and Danny, especially after all the expectations that everything would be fine.
