Has it really gotten that bad? Well, it all depends on who you ask. It seems as though the mainstream media is having a complete meltdown over Donald Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
It seemed as though MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski looked as if she was going to start crying while whining about how “discouraging” it is to see so many people rally at MSG “to hate.”
During her morning show on Monday, she said, “I think a lot of people are seeing that rally at Madison Square Garden. Seeing all those people doesn’t mean he is gonna win the race.”
“But my point is, it’s discouraging that so many people would gather and rally to hate to hate speech in America.”
Mika continued, “That it’s discouraging and it hurts that people who have family in Puerto Rico, who are Puerto Rican Americans, who are American citizens, are hearing hate like that. It’s discouraging.”
“It’s, oh my gosh, how did we get here? How did we get here? Well, of course, where a stadium of people come to hate. That’s a different country, a different time.”
If that weren’t enough, it was also noted that MSNBC directly compared Donald Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally to a 1939 rally.
It was also noted that Holocaust survivor Jerry Wartski was in attendance at the rally this evening, along with other Jews who were supporting Trump.
Of course, many critics sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some people commented with, “This is some crazy gaslighting. It’s a good thing that Donald Trump avoided most of the mainstream media and did most of his interviews on podcasts. These networks are a joke and no one is taking them seriously anymore.”
Another critic wrote, “I can’t believe that the media is gaslighting us like this. It just shows that they are really panicking that Donald Trump is going to win and he’s going to win big.”
