Viewers wouldn’t have accepted Taylor’s instant cure or rapid solution following Dr. Grace Buckingham’s (Cassandra Creech) opinion. Thankfully, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) convinced his two-time ex-wife to pursue options when she felt doomed.
Taylor’s negative outlook was coupled with her return to Los Angeles, California. So, the world-renowned psychiatrist was being prodded by her better instincts. She knew that Ridge and all who loved her wouldn’t allow an acceptance of a seeming fate.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) recently experienced healing at their wonderful home. The cliff house is a unique setting on a show filled with many eye-catching abodes.
Ridge felt it was best for Taylor to meet with the healer at the Finnegan home. She wasn’t sure what the point was, but she eventually realized the mental breakthrough Ridge was hoping for.
Taylor responded as Ridge anticipated. She recognized the need to take her health seriously and accepted that modern medicine offers the best chance to remedy her physical state.
Seeing Taylor collapse at Forrester Creations was shocking. However, Ridge was later thankful he was present because being there when Taylor fainted created an opening for her to tell him the truth.
Kaye’s character believes he can support Taylor and that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will be okay with it. He thinks Brooke will have compassion for Taylor and not be threatened.
However, Brooke’s initial reaction to Taylor mentioning her diagnosed syndrome was disbelief. Brooke thought Taylor was exaggerating as another ploy to win Ridge. But his current love was wrong.
While it’s good that Taylor is addressing the problems she’s been having, there isn’t a quick pathway to restored health. This storyline will lead to a further emphasis on solutions.
Broken heart syndrome mimics other heart-related issues. That implies Taylor will need medical care. Ridge said that she is taking medication, but it feels like hospitalization is on the horizon.
Ridge will naturally be emotionally pulled to Taylor and choose to spend time with her and their children. Brooke will only offer so much consideration. A stretched tale will increase tensions between Ridge and Brooke, providing Taylor an unsought opportunity to affect her greatest love’s heart.
It’s too soon to tell if Ridge is trending toward Taylor, will remain fully committed to Brooke, or if a twist will come. But this is a compelling start in Los Angeles, California.

seriously this spoiler is no different than what's been going on for the last few years
Ridge Brooke taylor triangle -same ole thing
Then we have Ridge and Brooke clashing over one of their children / Same ole thing
Then we have Stephanie getting another fight and holding a grudge against another person
But then we also always having her being the lead and be right and everyone else is wrong
Carter is just with another woman - I like that storyline, but of course they're taking it into a direction that is already given Stephanie the upper hand.
So what's new Nothing?
I think they should break off and start their own business and go after Forrester
The whole storyline in the show is all about Steffi making the decisions and creating obstacles for everybody and holding grudges
Then there's the triangle that always seems to come back.
