Another day, another supposed blunder from the vice president. But this time around Kamala Harris is being accused of contradicting one of her earlier statements. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
According to the latest reports, Kamala Harris told a crowd that she “loves Gen Z,” a complete 180 from her previous opinion that she thought young people were “stupid.”
Kamala said this week, “I love Gen Z because we have Gen Zs in our lives… I know I love Gen Z.”
But yet back in 2015, Kamala had a different opinion on the matter. She said back then, “What else do we know about this population 18 through 24? They are stupid. That is why we put them in dormitories and they have a resident assistant. They make really bad decisions.”
It goes without saying that the internet certainly had a lot to say about the matter.
Some fans and critics on both sides of the aisle commented with, “Kamala harris can’t keep track of her lies. It’s all catching up to her. Now we can see why they wanted to keep her in the basement with Joe.”
“Kamala Harris changes her tune to pander to her audience. She has no consistency other than her pursuit of power.”
Another critic wrote, “Kamala is a total liar. She pretends to care about Black Americans only during election season, suddenly gets behind fracking when it suits her, and acts like she gives a damn about Gen Z, all just to boost her political chances. It’s pathetic!”
And then there was this comment as well: “This is what happens when you have no core principles or beliefs.”
“She will say what she thinks will get her the most support in front of the group she is with at the time and never consider that it may be brought back up again in the future.”
So far Kamala Harris herself has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
