General Hospital spoilers tease the Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) is typically a fairly good man. He certainly has his flaws, such as the time a couple years back when he had a one-night stand with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) when he believed that his wife Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) was having an affair with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).
Olivia eventually forgave Ned, and they are happy together for the most part. But Ned’s biggest flaw is his obsession with the Quartermaine family business, ELQ.
For years now, Ned hasn’t seen eye to eye with either Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Matheson) or Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about the future of ELQ or even who should be in charge of the company.
But Ned recently came upon with information that could put him back on top of the company. He’s hired a Private Investigator to look into a potential affair between Drew and Michael’s wife, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Although Drew and Willow have only shared a few kisses at this point, it’s likely that Drew and Willow will take things even further and will be captured with photographic evidence.
Olivia has already made it clear to Ned that she’s tired of hearing about his war with Drew and Michael over ELQ. At the moment, she’s trying to help Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) deal with the fact that Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) will soon be leaving.
She’s also been working tirelessly to help find a liver donor for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havans) and support Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna). She’s got much more on her plate than yet another battle between the Quartermaine’s. Ned’s obsession with ELQ isn’t high on her priority list right now.
If Ned blackmails Drew and Olivia finds out, she will be furious. It’s likely that she might even leave Ned for his actions.
The timing could be especially bad for their marriage, because Olivia’s former lover, Steven Webber (Scott Reeves) will soon be in Port Charles for a visit. Olivia and Steven were almost married and there are likely still unresolved feelings between them.
If Ned doesn’t watch out, Olivia could end up in the arms of another man and he will only have himself to blame.
Who should run ELQ? Will Ned get the evidence he needs on Drew? Will Olivia support Ned’s blackmail scheme or leave him for his actions? Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC.

Under the circumstances, I feel the Q's should just get someone to chair the helm of ELQ as no family member can be resolved as being the better to be in charge. This family feud has been going on for years and needs to be settled and agreed upon by all concerned.
