In fact, he’s become quite a controversial figure for the Democratic party and of course, his wife, Kamala Harris, who is currently running for the highest office in the land.

According to the latest reports, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff accused of physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend, days after MSNBC host Jen Psaki said Emhoff was “reshaping masculinity.”

Per the Daily Mail, Emhoff hit a woman so hard that she physically spun around. New details also reveal that Emhoff allegedly “caused” his nanny to have a miscarriage after impregnating her.

If that weren’t enough, Doug was also slammed for supposedly being ‘weird’ and inappropriate with his daughter Ella Emhoff at this year’s Democratic National Convention.

A lot of critics also believe that there was nothing weird about Doug just wrapping his hand around his daughter’s waist while she had her hand around her father’s shoulder.

Clearly, they have a good daddy and daughter relationship, but for some people on the right, they found a reason to be bothered by the image.

What’s Next For Doug Emhoff?

The mainstream media has also been slammed for protecting Doug at all costs. 

Conservative radio and television personality Megyn Kelly made it pretty clear that she’s none too pleased with the fact that the mainstream media is ignoring his abuse scandal altogether.

She said, “If this were a Republican, it would be leading every news channel.”

“Most of us would have left it alone if he hadn’t then paraded himself out there and let the media parade himself out there like he was the ideal husband on steroids” or “like he is the new version of what it means to be a real man.”
