It’s not like a lot of people haven’t tried to go down this route in the past. There’s a new report that suggests Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are saving their marriage for the sake of their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

It’s been reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have purchased a home in Portugal. 

This is because Prince Harry has been desperate to go back to the UK but at the same time Meghan Markle doesn’t want to step foot on British soil again.

But by buying a home in Europe, Prince Harry can visit the UK at any time while not worrying about abandoning his wife and two children behind. 

And apparently Harry and Meghan made the decision to buy their new home in Portugal not only for their marriage, but for their children as well. The last thing they want to do is pull the plug on their relationship with a royal divorce.

What’s Next For The Duke And Duchess Of Sussex?

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “I think it perhaps suggests that they DO want their children to know at least some of their UK family.”

“It will be good for Archie and Lilibet to spend time with their little cousins, and Eugenie will remain an important link between Harry and the rest of his family.”

The insider added, “I don’t know quite why they feel they need to BUY a place….especially given that Harry has complained about lack of money in the past…..rather than just stay with Jack and Eugenie or rent a place, but it suggests that they intend to spend more time on this side of the Atlantic.”

“And that’s a positive move because it implies that the children won’t be solely immersed in American culture and will have a better understanding of their European roots.”
