Has it really come to this? There’s a new report that suggests a popular radio personality says he’s being canceled just because he’s voting for Donald Trump. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
According to the latest reports, Dave Ramsey says he is voting for Donald Trump and says he doesn’t care if people stop listening to his show.
Ramsey told his 15 million weekly users he was voting for Trump and said they couldn’t cancel him because he owns the show. He put it this way, “I’m gonna tell you, I’m voting for Donald Trump, not because I’m voting Trump for Donald Trump.”
“Some of you are never gonna listen to me again after this. That’s okay. I can deal with that. That has happened to me for 30 years.”
He continued, “People have threatened me like, ‘I’m going to cancel you.’ That’s hard to do. I own the show and so you’re not gonna get to cancel me. So you can leave, but you can’t cancel me.”
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some fans and critics on both sides of the aisle commented with, “This election has become so critical for America, that people are not afraid to announce their support for Donald Trump.”
Another critic wrote, “This is a huge endorsement. In my opinion Dave Ramsey mostly talks about non-political items so there will be a lot of independent voters that are swayed by his decision.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Good— it’s going to take a lot of people to stand up like this and endorse Trump.”
“America is divided between those people who think the government can be trusted, and those people that think. That’s the entire electorate.”
