General Hospital Spoilers reveal Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) has just learned that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is her father, and she’s not taking the news very well. Planting a kiss on Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and then quickly backing away in disgust will soon be the least of her worries.
Telling Cody the truth doesn’t seem like a viable option to Sasha right now. She doesn’t want him to feel as repulsed and sick to his stomach by all of this as she currently does. Further, she doesn’t want to have to explain how she came to know this information, or that Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) is her mother.
For some reason, that hasn’t been a topic of discussion among Sasha and anyone she’s been friends — or more — with over the years, despite Holly’s dramatic trips to town and their clearly strained relationship. Now, she has to decide whether she’s going to confront her father, which will out her mother and potentially leave Holly and Robert in similar dire straits. How do you think Sasha will react to this news?
Holly claims she never told Sasha who her father was — despite her daughter’s pleading with her to reveal his identity — because she didn’t want to further impair her relationship with Robert.
When he showed up alive more than twelve years after he was presumed dead, Holly didn’t want to show up on his doorstep with an almost-teenaged girl insisting upon his paternity.
Moreover, he brought a lot of danger with him that she didn’t want to follow Sasha. But it’s hard for Sasha to believe her mother was ever interested in protecting her, or that she truly believed not knowing who her dad was would be what was ultimately best for her.
Besides, that was many years ago. Robert is no longer living a life of danger. Why hasn’t she spoken up since? Robert will probably have the same question.
Goodness knows that Robert and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) have been trucking right along just swimmingly, and most of the fans are here for that relationship.
They side with Mac Scorpio (John J. York) in not wanting Holly to come in and bust up the good thing that Robert has going on.
Oops, too late! Feeling compelled to let Sasha know the truth because she’s hooking up with her cousin, Holly let the cat out of the bag over three decades after finding herself pregnant with a presumably dead man’s child.
There’s no way Holly and Robert won’t end up bonding over their shared child now, as soon as the dust settles from her betrayal and lies that is.
So just how long is it going to take for that alleged dust to settle? Perhaps Robert has grown enough to see Holly for who she is, despite his never ending love for her.
Maybe this will sting enough for him to harden his heart against her. He doesn’t need to have a relationship with Holly to have one with Sasha — if either of them even want such, but we imagine they both will.
Maybe Holly gets iced out entirely and loses what little attachment she had left with Sasha in one fell swoop with her longstanding history with Robert going along with it.
