The actress, who has been let go from the hit ABC soap, has made it clear that she appreciates all of the fan support that she’s gotten these last several weeks.
The ‘I Stand With Kelly’ campaign has even gotten a lot of momentum in the hopes that they could change the minds of the producers of the show and keep Kelly on General Hospital.
In one post on X, the campaigners wrote, “That’s right, our truck is back at Prospect Studios and ABC/Disney. Here is what we have playing on an 8-hour loop! As always, we added sound just for you!”
“Due to Sam’s death already having been filmed, we expanded the ‘What If’ promo to be a storyline that has Danny and Dante figuring out she’s still alive. It showcases the resulting issues that come with Sam reclaiming her life—including: the originally planned love triangle concept between Sante/Lulu along with Sam’s conflicts with others in Port Charles. ”
It didn’t take long for Kelly Monaco herself to respond. She wrote, “Thank you, y’all are the best, most loyal people ever!!!! It doesn’t go unnoticed… at least by me… BRAVO!”
Many of Kelly’s fans replied to her message with, “Please don’t leave the show. Your character has so much to give to this show.”
“We love you so much !! I have watched you for years I only watched GH for Jasam . I’m done with that show after 36 years . Thank you for all the years of hard work and entertainment.”
Another fan said, “Kelly, you deserve this and so much more! Your fans will never stop fighting for you.”
“We’re with you Kelly, always. We won’t give up we love you and the great job you do bringing Sam’s character to life there will be no other for us than you.”
