The Democrats might want to change their strategy, or at least their slogan. Show host Charlamagne says Trump’s “America First” messaging resonates with voters “a lot” more than the Harris campaign’s messaging.

He said, “Trump and J.D. Vance… they’ll be talking about things that are happening right here in America because it is an election season right here in America.”

“It’s always America First. But then you go to Tim Walz and they’re asking him about geopolitical politics, and I think a lot of times that makes them sound, you know, very out of touch.”

The show host continued, “When you hear the Vances and the Trumps talking about what’s happening here at home and saying things like America First and Make America Great Again, that messaging sometimes resonates a lot more. Not sometimes; it does resonate a lot more.”

Celeb News: What’s Next For Kamala Harris And Her Campaign?

Of course,  the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some people even commented with, “Trump has always been America first. We saw that his last time he was in office. After Kamala’s fiasco with the hurricane efforts, many woke up! America wasn’t first!”

Another critic wrote, “America First’ isn’t just a slogan it’s what everyday Americans want to hear because it’s time to focus on home!”

“It’s amazing that these people are just waking up to this. Trump has been saying this for years already.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Get on board Charlamagne, the America First Express train is welcoming new passengers. Charlemagne was today years old when he learned that MAGA has always stood for make America great again.”

“Funny how his critics start to play the fence. They want to appear more amicable.”
