This clearly doesn’t make sense to the rest of us, either.
General Hosptal star Kelly Monaco, who fans know for her role as Sam McCall on the hit ABC soap, has shared her parting words on her Instagram account.
As many daytime television fans know, Kelly has been fired from the show, but apparently she hasn’t been given a reason as to why she was pink slipped.
Sharing a photo with her co-stars next to her, Kelly wrote, “Last scene with the Davis girls. Still doesn’t make any sense to me.”
It goes without saying that the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some even took to Kelly’s comments section to write, “This whole thing is so disappointing. Watching Sam’s character disappear the last few years has been frustrating to us fans, and I can only imagine much worse for Kelly. Hard to keep watching GH with her exit.”
Another critic wrote, “Doesn’t make sense to us either. Been a fan of yours since day one. GH made a HUGE MISTAKE! Won’t be the same without you.”
“The writers killed Sam long before the brass fired you. You deserved a Sam-worthy story line. Sad to see you go.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Thank you being one half of my all time favorite couple in #JaSam. I am blessed to have enjoyed the unconventional love story of Sam & her Jason since 2004. I thought with Steve’s return this year I had such great hope that the 2 of you would find your way back to each other and we would get to enjoy the slow burn all over again.”
“ I’m truly heartbroken at this point! I wish only the very best for you in your next chapter! I really don’t understand how we got here but it truly sucks and it just so unbelievably sad!”
So far Kelly herself has not made any additional comments about the matter just yet.

Kelly Monaco has every right to be angry. She was fired for no reason. I hope that Kelly returns as Sam McCall one day. I love Sam. Sam kicks butt and confronts people too. Kelly is a fighter and she is toough too.
