General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, October 3 tease shocking questions, surprise news and true promises. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has a shocking question for his father, Ava Jerome (Maura West) gets surprise news and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) makes true promises.
A quick reminder: this episode is scheduled to air on Thursday, October 3. However, keep in mind that the MLB playoffs might affect this timing, possibly moving the episode to Friday, October 4. We’ll keep you posted with any updates, so stay tuned!
The airing on Thursday depends on the playoff results from Wednesday. If there’s no extra playoff day needed, you can expect GH to be back on both Thursday and Friday.
Curtis found out that Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) is set to hit the road with the famous jazz trombonist Wynton Marsalis. Although Marshall has been overseeing The Savoy for Curtis, he kept this major news to himself, and Curtis learned about it from others.
Determined to get to the bottom of it, Curtis confronts Marshall at The Savoy, asking if this tour is because of him, and why he’s leaving.
This tour is a huge opportunity for Marshall, who has been striving to make his mark in the music industry. Rather than feeling happy for him, Curtis is instead filled with dread that his father might be planning to leave him behind once again.
At the hospital, a conversation unfolds between Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), where Sam articulates her wish to resolve some ongoing issues.
Dante questions whether this indicates a positive turn, subtly referencing the challenges Sam has faced in her relationships. He might be referring to either of her children’s fathers, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) or Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison).
Sam has experienced frustration regarding her ties with both men in their roles as fathers. Are we finally witnessing a shift towards genuine fatherhood in the relationships between Jason and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzin) or Drew and Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante)?
Ava is busy at her desk in the Jerome Art Gallery when an unexpected wave of happiness washes over her. She stands up, her face brightening as she exclaims, “What’s going on? -that sounds fantastic!”
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) opens her heart to Ava, offering what seems to be a hopeful piece of news. Is it possible that she’s starting to find her way out of the deep sadness following Spencer Cassadine’s (most recently Nicholas Chavez) loss?
She’s been encouraged to return to Port Charles University to complete her degree, and maybe now she feels equipped to take that important step forward.
At GH, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) is clearly annoyed as he stands near a snack machine, clashing with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). She strongly disapproves of Terry Randolph’s (Cassandra James) decision to rehire him at the lab.
As Portia expresses her frustrations, Brad, fueled by his own irritation, snaps back, “What difference does it make to you if I work here?”
Yet, beneath Portia’s tough facade lies a significant worry; she fears that Brad could expose her interference with Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) blood test results. To safeguard her secret, Portia is prepared to take drastic actions, including potentially framing him.
Lucky and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) are deep in conversation at Bobbie’s, discussing serious matters. Lucky reassures Liz that he won’t make any promises he can’t keep, particularly to Aiden Spencer (Colin Cassidy).
Aiden has begun to lose trust in his father, much like Elizabeth has. However, a moment of clarity struck Lucky while he was at Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins) hospital bedside.
He realized that he needs to seek forgiveness not just from Lulu, but also from Aiden, Elizabeth, and the rest of his family, reflecting on the lessons learned from his absence during crucial times.
Trapped in the bleak confines of Pentonville Prison, Heather Webber (Alley Mills) desperately calls out to a figure who might be a guard, his face shrouded in mystery.
She has likely just learned the heart-wrenching news that her prison term has been extended, as her blood tests indicate no improvement in her cobalt poisoning—thanks to Portia’s actions!
Overwhelmed by a mix of frustration and fury, Heather stands resolute; she boldly proclaims that she will not give up without a fierce fight!
Acknowledging her growth in choosing not to inflict harm on others, she feels she deserves a second chance. However, the shadows of her manipulative instincts still linger within her.
