He was once in their same position not too long ago. Yet, it doesn’t seem like he’s too bothered about all the cast shake ups that are currently going on behind the scenes at General Hospital.

Of course, we are talking about actor Steve Burton, who is best known for his role as Jason Morgan on the hit ABC soap. Back in 2021, he was the one who was thrown to the curb after he had refused to comply with the ABC network’s mandatory vaccine mandate against COVD-19.

The actor temporarily moved to Days of Our Lives but now that he’s back home in Port Charles, life couldn’t be better for him. But at the same time, some of his co-stars and best friends from the show are dealing with the same kind of pain that he experienced a few years back.

Steve has been eerily quiet over the fact that Kelly Monaco has been fired from the show. After all, they have been the best of friends off screen and lovers on screen. They’ve shared so much screen time together.

But instead of speaking up for Kelly, it looks like Steve is more comfortable with the job security that he has right now. He doesn’t want to tip the boat by saying anything offensive that might lead to some trouble for him.

The same would apply to actor Michael Easton. For months now General Hospital fans have been begging for his return on the canvas, but for some reason that just hasn’t happened. 

General Hospital News: What’s Next For Steve Burton?

You’d think that someone like Steve would support his former co-stars somehow, but it looks like silence is the only option right now. He clearly doesn’t want to shake up anything on his end if he doesn’t have to, and especially if he’s got a stable paycheck coming in every two weeks.

Needless to say, Steve Burton himself has not made any comments about the matter.
