Someone’s got to do the job, right? Donald Trump thanks Elon Musk after he announced he is providing free Starlink services to people impacted by Hurricane Helene.

Musk said that Starlink in all “affected areas” will work regardless of payment after he had a conversation with Trump earlier this week.

“We are making a system update to allow all Starlinks in the affected areas to work, regardless of payment,” Musk said on X. “Software update hopefully completed tonight. Tomorrow at the latest.”

Of course, the internet had a lot to say about the matter. A lot of people can’t help but wonder why Presient Joe Biden wasn’t involved in any of this and why he hasn’t made an effort to visit the victims of the hurricane, too. 

For some critics, it’s almost as if Biden is phoning in his last few months as the President of the United States and people want to know why.
