So, how many children does she have? The Royal Family has left a lot of people scratching their heads over a rather confusing pregnancy announcement that they release on Tuesday morning. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

The Royal Family Releases Confusing Pregnancy Announcement

Princess Beatrice has announced that she is pregnant and expecting her second child with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Sharing a photo of the couple together along with another one of their daughter Sienna and Edoardo’s son Wolfie from his previous relationship, the royal family captioned the post with, “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together early in the new year; a sibling for Wolfie and Sienna.”

“His Majesty The King has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”

However, a lot of people were confused because the initial post said that it was their third child and not their second. Princess Beatrice is a stepmother to Wolfie, after all.

Many fans and critics commented on the post with, “Princess Beatrice is a stepmother to her Edoardo’s son Wolfie which means together they expecting their second child together!”

“I’m happy they are expecting again but technically they have three children now and not just two. Don’t leave the stepchild out just because it doesn’t fit your narrative.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Tell us you use the words step and half without saying you use the words step and half. Geez, isn’t a family a family, without the separation of his vs hers vs together?”

What’s Next For Princess Beatrice And Edoardo?

Clearly, someone needs to work on their post-writing skills behind the scenes over at the palace. Either way, it sounds like Princess Beatrice and Edoardo are very happy about the addition of their family. We can’t wait to see pics of their little bundle of joy once they come in. Watch this space.
