You can’t totally blame her for the storylines, but there are still a lot of people who are putting the blame on Nancy Lee Grahn for General Hospital’s poor ratings lately.

And that has nothing to do with her acting in front of the cameras, but rather some of the things that she says on social media.

For anyone who has been following along, they know that Nancy is very vocal, especially when it comes to her opinions about what is going on in the potlicial world.

She doesn’t hold back when it comes to her disdain for people like Donald Trump, which is turning off half of her audience and fan base.

In fact, Nancy gets so heated about her opinions and what’s going on with the presidential election that a lot of people think that she should just keep her opinions to herself.

Nancy recently wrote on her X (formerly Twitter) account about Donald Trump, “He’s unquestionably mentally incompetent. He’s also an adjudicated rapist w/ multiple indictments & a litany of other well evidenced egregious offenses.”

“YET, THIS RACE IS UNIMAGINABLY NECK & NECK. We must accept that there are unhinged Americans to threaten r Democracy. VOTE!”

General Hospital News: Is Nancy Going Too Far?

For a lot of fans, they think that Nancy Lee Grahn should just stick to acting and the drama that her character has to deal with in this fictional town of Port Charles. In fact, a lot of soap fans don’t want to hear their favorite actors talk about their opinions at all.

Not only that, but the more vocal she is about her political opinions, the more fans just want to tune out from Nancy, both on social media and even on General Hospital as well.

So far Nancy Lee Grahn herself has not made any comments about the criticism she’s received, although at this point it’s safe to say that she won’t. 

Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next.
