JD Vance barred from entering Primanti Bros in North Versailles, PA as supporters waited for him inside.
Because of what happened, the Ohio senator decided to pay for everyone’s tabs anyway & signed with “No Taxes on Tips.”
According to NBC, when Vance arrived, he was reportedly told he wasn’t allowed to leave his car because the restaurant didn’t want a “campaign event.”
Vance ended up staying in the parking lot and meeting with supporters. He also paid for their tabs.
He said, “We paid for everybody’s food. We gave him a nice tip. And of course, when I gave him a nice tip, I said, ‘No taxes on tips.'”
“Don’t hold it against her. She just got a little nervous. But it’s a great local business. Let’s keep on supporting it.”
It goes without saying that the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “Vance was certainly the bigger person in this situation. It’s a shame some people react this way. Good for JD.”
Another critic wrote, “Vance handled this like a complete professional. He took the outrage away from the restaurant management and turned it into a positive experience for the campaign. Class act.”
“But then again, he just turned their cowardice into a PR nightmare for them.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Turning a sour situation into something sweet is what great leadership is all about. Well played JD Vance.”
“I get that Primanti Bros have their politics, but basically telling half their customers that they aren’t welcome, isn’t very business friendly.”
So far JD Vance himself has not made any additional comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space.

First of all it sounds like Vance didn't seek permission to use the Restaurant for a town hall meeting. You can't just walk in somewhere and set up shop. A Trump tactic, just push your way through and if they refuse then the reporters they have on the payroll will put a spin on it to make Vance look good. He should have paid for the Restaurant building and had his people there instead of trying to show up and force people to listen to him.
