It looks like someone here needs to prepare with maybe a little bit more homework. There’s a new report that says Kamala Harris has been left stumped a gun over a question about taxes and the economy.
Unfortunately for the Vice President, she just couldn’t give a straight answer. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Per the latest reports, Kamala Harris was stumped during her first solo sit-down interview since becoming the Democratic nominee.
The question that she was asked was, “If you can’t raise corporate taxes or if GOP takes control of the Senate, where do you get the money to do that?”
That’s when Kamala answered with, “Well, but we’re gonna have to raise corporate taxes and we’re gonna have to raise, we’re gonna have to make sure that the biggest corporations and billionaires pay their fair share.”
“That’s just it. It’s about paying their fair share.”
Of course, the internet sure did have a field day in the comments section over Kamala’s answer.
Some fans and critics alike replied with, “Kamala Harris can’t even explain her own plan without falling back on the tired ‘tax the rich’ slogan. It’s like she has no clue how the economy works.”
“Punishing success isn’t the answer; it’s just a lazy way to avoid real solutions.”
Another critic wrote, “She has no idea what’s she’s talking about. She has no experience running a business or even what a P & L is. She doesn’t understand the economy. She only wants to tax and spend in this economy. She’s unqualified.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I’m honestly shocked MSNBC even asked her that question, knowing full well she’d be stumped. They usually run cover for her, so what are they really up to this time or is this a rare MSNBC W?”
So far Kamala Harris herself has not responded to any of the criticism she’s received.
