No one can certainly blame her for feeling this way, especially if it turns out to be there.
There’s heavy speculation on social media that suggests Kelly Monaco might be having a very hard time waking up and getting ready to go to work on the set of the hit ABC soap General Hospital these days.
And not only that, but there’s also a very good chance that she might be phoning in her performances as well. And who can blame her?
The actress, who is best known for her role as Sam McCall on the hit ABC soap, has been fired after over two decades on the show.
General Hospital fans still haven’t been given a reason for Kelly’s departure, but it has been said that her character is going to be killed off during her final episode.
For Kelly, this has go to be quite the emotional rollercoaster. Never in a million years she thought that the same place that helped make her a household name in the daytime television industry would discard her in the way that they have.
To make matters even worse, it was also reported that Kelly was completely blindsided when she heard that the show was letting her go. Having to go back to work now every day and complete her contract has to feel emotionally painful for the actress.
But because she’s a professional, there’s no doubt that Kelly is doing what she has to do in order to get the job done.
Now, as far as what’s next for Kelly and whether or not she might make the jump to another soap opera remains to be seen. However, a lot of her fans are hoping that will be the case.
So far the actress herself has not made any comments about the matter just yet.

She didn't seem to be "phoning it in" the last few scenes I've seen her in. Especially the one with Carly, begging her to tell the truth to help Alexis. It was a passionate and heartfelt performance. It can't be easy going there and doing her job under these circumstances, but as mentioned, she is a professional, and no matter how bad she might feel, she's intelligent enough to know it's in her best interest to do the best job possible. She also knows it isn't her co-actors fault she was let go, so she wouldn't phone it in and make it harder on them to do their scenes with her.
If GH brought back Liz why not bring back Sam to me. Sam is a better actor than Liz.
