General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, September 27 tease bluffs, threats and distractions. Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) isn’t sure if Lucky Spencer’s (Jonathan Jackson) bluffing, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) makes a threat, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) uses a distraction!
In Africa, Sidwell confronts Lucky while holding Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) at gunpoint. He warns Lucky that he can never be sure if he’s bluffing, especially after Lucky and Holly attempted to flee.
Holly made a critical mistake by turning to speak to Lucky while she had his weapon trained on Sidwell, allowing Sidwell to disarm her.
Meanwhile, Jason and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) find themselves trapped in a cell, facing imminent danger unless a miracle occurs. Will Lucky’s renowned luck be enough to save them all?
In Port Charles, Cody threatens Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) with an ultimatum after she seemingly threatens to fire Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Tracy caught Cody and Sasha in a passionate moment on a table in the stables, which doubles as Cody’s apartment.
He warns Tracy that if she follows through with her threat, he will resign as well-can Cody manage to protect both his job and Sasha’s future?
Interestingly, Tracy just had a conversation with Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), during which she revealed that Cody brings back memories of Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary)!
Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will give Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) a lesson in history, but her question, “is that why you haven’t called me?” seems to hint at someone else entirely.
With her former flame Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) back in town, it feels more like a conversation meant for him! Martin’s return is tied to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who brought him back, and Natalia has been spending quite a bit of time with Sonny.
The joy and surprise lighting up Lucy’s face suggest she’s more thrilled about running into Martin than chatting with Natalia. Ultimately, it was Lucy’s own actions that led to her breakup with Martin, especially with Tracy meddling in their relationship.
Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) are enjoying an upscale dinner, sparks flying as they navigate the evening. Are their conversations strictly professional or is there a hint of romance in the air?
Robert’s enigmatic response hints at a blend of both, telling her he wouldn’t be so sure of that. As the district attorney, he walks a fine line with Diane, who defends clients like Sonny. They must tread carefully, as discussing certain topics might jeopardize their future courtroom encounters!
Elsewhere, a concerned Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) sits down with Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure), who has already informed her that his resources for locating Lucky are quite limited.
He tries to reassure her that he will assist as much as possible, but ultimately, the outcome depends on them—and Jason and Anna are facing significant challenges!
Jack has mentioned that he cannot utilize WSB resources in that region, much to the frustration of Robert and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner).
While he might be able to monitor the area through satellite imagery, it won’t provide much in the way of detailed visuals. However, if there happens to be a large fire or a similar event, it could potentially be detected!
At the Metro Court restaurant, Martin engages Sonny in a conversation about Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) legal situation, expressing his desire to make progress on her case.
Although Sonny has employed Martin to defend her, Martin is acutely aware—or at least strongly suspects—that Sonny is the one responsible for the death of John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington).
He informed Alexis that her best chance to exonerate herself and safeguard Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) lies in proving Sonny’s guilt.
With Alexis already behind bars at Pentonville, charged after she was spotted disposing of a gun in a river, Sonny remains the prime suspect in this unfolding drama. He tells Sonny that he hopes he would make that happen-possibly hinting at turning himself in!
As Jason and Anna sat in their cell, waiting for Sidwell to carry out his grim plan, emotions ran high. Anna, overwhelmed, found solace in Jason’s comforting presence.
Suddenly, in a surprising turn, he leaned in and kissed her fervently, just as the sound of clanging doors echoed down the corridor. Despite her efforts, Anna struggled to unlock his cuffs, leaving her puzzled by Jason’s strange behavior.
Could it be that his passionate kiss was a clever ruse to distract the approaching henchmen, giving them a fleeting opportunity to fight back? It’s certainly a possibility worth pondering!
