Even though Prince Harry and Kate Middleton are not as close as they used to be before, that doesn’t mean the Princess of Wales doesn’t care about her brother-in-law.
She is all too aware of the pain that he’s gone through in his life and knows that all the therapy in the world won’t help heal some of the childhood pain that he has suffered from.
That’s one of the reasons why the future queen of England doesn’t want to see Harry split with Meghan. She knows that it would not only be very traumatic for their family, which includes their two children Archie and Lilibet, but also for Harry, too.
That’s because he’s gone through so much as a child. His parents, Prince Charles and Princess Diana, had an ugly divorce that made headlines all across the world.
Not only that, but the pain of losing his mother Diana in a car crash back in 1997 is something that he still deals with to this very day.
If there’s one person who knows what a divorce would do to Prince Harry, it’s Kate Middleton. She doesn’t want to see him suffer and also feel guilty from walking away from his family and making his two children grow up trying to navigate their lives despite being products of a broken home.
Now, whether or not Prince Harry does pull the plug on his marriage to Meghan Markle remains to be seen, but it looks like he’s holding on to whatever hope may be left from their relationship. Or at least, that’s what he’s trying to do.
So far Kate Middleton herself has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
