There’s heavy speculation on social media that suggests Prince Harry is refusing to be duped by the royals. That’s because there’s more to the sudden social media post in which they all wished him a very happy 40th birthday.

For the longest time, the royals haven’t even acknowledged the Duke of Sussex on social media or anywhere on paper for that matter. 

But now it looks like they almost want to extend an olive branch by publicly wishing him a happy birthday after spending years ignoring him in person.

However, it seems like the Duke of Sussex is not buying it. He knows that this is their way of trying to look good or at least lure him back into the royal family especially now that they need him more than ever before.

The Duke of Sussex knows  that if the royal family really cared, they would have reached out to him in private. That, or they would have made an effort to see him each and every time that he’s visited London in the last several years.

But that clearly hasn’t happened. Even though Harry was in London for his uncle’s funeral a few weeks ago, his brother Prince William refused to speak to him, let alone even look at him even though they were in the same room together.

What’s Next For Prince Harry?

Because of this, Harry knows that a happy birthday greeting on social media is more than just a little suspicious. He knows that they want something from him but he’s refusing to give it to them.

What’s more, Prince Harry has been with the royal family long enough that this is simply the way that they operate. There’s a motive behind the social media post but at this point, he might not even care that much too find out.

So far Prince Harry himself has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
