She’s quite the controversial figure even though she probably doesn’t even want to be famous.

Of course, we are talking about Kamala Harris’s stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff.

Even though the two of them are not that close, she seems to be getting criticized a lot by critics on both sides of the aisle. This has prompted a lot of people to even ask: is there something wrong with Ella Emhoff?

Probably not, but she was called a nightmare stepdaughter back in August. Even though she hasn’t been a part of her step mother’s presidential campaign in any way, she did show her support for Kamala at the Democratic National Convention. 

That’s where Kamala’s critics took aim at Ella for the way that she was dressed and how she represented herself at the convention.

That’s because all Ella had was a t-shirt and a trucker hat that said Harris and Walz. And for a lot of critics, they think she could have tried just a little bit harder, especially knowing just how important this was for her step mother. 

In fact, Ella was the only person who was dressed this casually when everyone else in her family, including her own brother, put in more effort into what they were wearing for the occasion.

If that weren’t enough, Ella Emhoff was slammed for publicly raising money for a relief group that was tied to the October 7th terrorist attack on Israel. 

It was reported back in March that Ella tried to raise money for the United Nations Relief and Work Agency even though the U.S. cut funding to the group after it was discovered that some of the members had ties to the terror attack on Israel back in October.

It’s a move that Kamala Harris has tried to stay far away from.

So far Ella herself has not made any comments about the criticism she’s received although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
