By now, everyone knows that Kelly was let go from the hit ABC soap even though she spent the last two decades playing the legacy character Sam McCall.
However, it’s been noted on social media and especially on X (formerly Twitter) that Kelly has been silenced from telling her side of the story about what might have been going on behind closed doors.
Yet, a lot of fans have pointed out that some other actors like Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) are very free to say whatever they want on social media without having to face any serious consequences.
Back in 2021, Nancy was even the first person to reveal that her former co-star Ingo Rademacher was getting fired from the show. It was a move that was certainly not appreciated by Ingo himself.
So, why can Nancy say whatever she wants while Kelly is forced to sit in silence? That’s what critics want to know.
All of the speculation began when one General Hospital critic wrote, “So she’s not allowed to post her feelings but Nancy Lee Grahn posts hateful things daily, calls ppl names, has posted her opinion on casting and yet she continues to be unscathed.”
That’s when other critics wrote comments such as, “Because what NLG posts fits their narrative. Nancy Lee Grahn is uncivil and toxic.”
Another critic also wrote, “I unfollowed Nancy Lee Grahn for her hateful remarks.”
There’s no doubt that soap twitter is going to be on fire the moment that Kelly begins spilling any tea about what might have been going on behind closed doors over at the General Hospital studios all these years.

I agree with the writing and all the fans' input. I find Alexia/NLG almost intolerable, and she gets to sit behind a desk and keep her cherry job. Sam/KM gets no lines and is kicked to the curb. Give me Sam/KM any day.
I am getting quite sick of GH in general! NLG, in particular, I have never known her to post such ugly political crap. Kelly should not be the one fired, in my opinion. I have been watching this soap for 60+ years, I have never seen such intolerance, ever! The "new" writers have RUINED our GH. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this just disappeared from the air like OLTL, and AMC. Certainly if the viewership drops off, that will absolutely happen.
I don't understand why Nancy can post anything she wants,and even curses sometimes(the cursing is why I unfollowed her),but Kelly can't say anything,and in spite of that,she was fired!! I think ABC has realised that if they hadn't fired Billy,he might not have killed himself so soon!!!
