Per the latest news reports, Democrat Senator Richard Blumenthal says a new report into Trump’s assassination attempt will leave Americans “shocked, astonished and appalled.”

The comments came after Senate members met with acting USSS Director Ronald Rowe for a closed-door briefing.

If that weren’t enough, Blumenthal said Americans will be appalled by the Secret Service’s and Department of Homeland Security’s failure to protect Trump.

He put it this way, “I think the American people will be shocked, astonished, and appalled by what we will report to them about the failures of the Secret Service in this assassination attempt of a former president.”

The politician then continued, “But I think they also ought to be appalled and astonished by the failure of the Department of Homeland Security to be more forthcoming, to be as candid and frank as it should be to them in terms of providing information.”

Many critics had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “It was an inside job. There are too many variables that went wrong and too many failures for not to be.”
