No one said that any of this would be easy. There’s a new report that says Jennifer Lopez has been forced to put a smile on her face in front of Ben Affleck’s kids. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
While everyone knows by now that Jennifer pulled the plug on her two-year marriage to Ben Affleck on the second anniversary of their wedding.
And while Ben has made it pretty clear that he wants nothing to do with his estranged wife, the two of them did hang out this past weekend in Los Angeles.
Not only that, but they also briefly held hands and even gave each other a kiss at one point. And that’s mostly because they were hanging out with their children.
According to Page Six, the ex-couple had lunch at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel this past weekend. Ben’s kids Seraphina and Samuel were there along with Jennifer’s twins, Max and Emme.
One source close to the situation even put it this way, “A divorce is never easy, but Jennifer doesn’t want to be selfish about it.”
“The kids always got along and had fun together. It makes her happy seeing the kids happy together. Happy kids are her priority.”
For Jennifer Lopez, it doesn’t matter how much she wanted the kids to be together and have fun, being anywhere near Ben had to feel incredibly painful for her. That’s because she still has some unresolved feelings about their marriage and divorce.
But because Jennifer is someone who always knows how to keep calm, cool and collected everywhere she goes, she managed to play along, especially knowing that the paparazzi was watching her every move.
She knew that giving Ben a kiss and a hug would make it look like they were getting back together again, even if they weren’t.
So far Jennifer Lopez herself has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
