She certainly did not want to see this happen. There’s heavy speculation on social media that suggests Meghan Markle is absolutely livid over the fact that the royal family has extended an olive branch to her husband, Prince Harry.
As many fans and critics know by now, the royals, including King Charles and Queen Camilla and even Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The Royal Family accounts along with the official Prince and Princess of Wales accounts on social media all wished Prince Harry a very happy 40th birthday.
This was the first time that they even acknowledged the prince and his birthday in years.
One source close to the situation even suggested that King Charles was planning to reach out to his son on his birthday.
The insider said, “I am sure a call will be scheduled. They spoke on Charles’ birthday. This message is a significant olive branch from the king, and the ball is now in Harry’s court.”
For Meghan Markle, this couldn’t come at a worse time. After all, it’s been reported for many long months now that the Duke of Sussex is very homesick and that he’s been looking to go back to the UK on at least a part time basis.
And if the royal family welcomes Prince Harry back home with open arms, then he might actually do it. That, of course, is the last thing that the Duchess of Sussex wants to see right now.
She’s fighting so hard for her family to stay in California, but if Prince Harry decides that he wants to move back to London, then Meghan will feel like she has no other choice but to follow her husband across the pond again.
That’s why she’s so unhappy that the royal family is doing this when all she wants to do is keep Harry at home in California with her.
So far both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made no comments about the matter just yet.
