Per the latest reports, agents opened fire on a man who was at the Trump International Golf Course after they saw what appeared to be a gun.

“Officials believe the shots fired at Trump International Golf Club were intended for former President Donald Trump, according to sources familiar on the matter,” CNN reported.

“Sources said the Secret Service spotted a suspicious individual on the Trump International Golf Course West Palm Beach, and opened fire when agents saw what appeared to be the barrel of a gun,” the New York Post reported.

What’s more, Senator Lindsey Graham says he spoke with Trump after the incident.

“Just spoke with President Trump. He is one of the strongest people I’ve ever known. He’s in good spirits and he is more resolved than ever to save our country.”

Of course, the internet had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some have even commented with, “I knew it. Last time they did it on live television with hundreds of cellphone cameras around and it backfired huge. This time they tried doing it in secret.”

“They’re not done yet and won’t stop until President Trump is gone! God help us because if they succeed, we will have a revolution and our country is finished.”

Another critic wrote, “They will not give up because they know he is going to win. That should be evident.  Are the same people behind this attempt?”

“Americans need to start thinking about how they’d react in the event of a Trump assassination. I hope the Trump campaign has procedures and protocols in place in case it happens.”

And then there was this comment as well: “The mainstream media and democrats glossed over the previous attempt on Donald Trumps life and continued with their hateful rhetoric. This is them radicalizing their base.”

“This government wants him dead. We must protect Trump at all costs. He needs more security. Private security.”
