General Hospital Spoilers: Is Dex Teaming Up with Chase Because Sam’s Death is Going to Take Dante Off the Force?

General Hospital Spoilers reveal the fans have noticed that Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is spending a whole lot of time with the newly minted Officer Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) — and not so much with his partner, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

We still don’t know how Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is going to die. We only know that she is. It may be possible that it will end up being Dante’s so-called “fault” — just a little bit anyway.

Is that why we’re seeing Dex shadowing Chase and working with him on the case of FBI Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates’ (Adam Harrington) murder, or are Sonny and Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) just going to be too close for comfort for Dante to work this case? Hey, maybe he’s taking time off because of Lulu Falconeri’s (Emme Rylan) condition.

General Hospital Spoilers — Where is Dante?

Some fans have noticed that Dante has been a bit absent at the police station as of late. Understandably, he’s got a lot going on. Lulu once meant the world to him, and if he’s being honest with himself, she still does.

On top of his own heart aching over her, his son could soon lose his mother — permanently. Maybe he’s just sidelined from the job right now for his own mental health. Maybe he’s tending to his kid. Maybe he’s not been the focus in the latest storyline because it implicates his father and sister.

Regardless, he’s usually not completely out of the office just because he’s not on a certain case, but Chase is spending all of his work time with Dex — not Dante.

GH Spoilers Hint Sam’s Death Could Derail Everything

Months ago, Dante was shot in the line of duty trying to catch Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and another assailant after a shooting targeting Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). It left Sam with grave concerns about his line of work, as it did for Dante.

But Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) quickly reminded him of the reasons he became a cop and why he loves the badge. Still, if Sam’s death happens because Dante is a boy in blue, he just might walk away, which would leave space for Dex to become Chase’s new brother in arms.

General Hospital Spoilers — Lulu Wakes Up

We’re all expecting a miracle for Lulu. As her family gets closer to tracking down Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), a liver transplant that saves her life seems likely.

Will the shock of the surgery to her body spur a change that leads to her waking up? If so, how will that hit Dante — who is almost guaranteed to be left feeling guilty about Sam’s death and almost as though he doesn’t deserve to go on and live a happy life with Lulu now after Sam has made the ultimate sacrifice for him.
