It looks like someone here is trying to make some last minute adjustments. There’s a new report that suggests Kamala Harris might be in panic mode as she’s making some bizarre requests right before the debate tonight. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
According to new reports, Kamala Harris will have a miniature podium during tonight’s debate on ABC against Donald Trump.
The move was requested by Harris’ team who is afraid she will look tiny compared to Trump. The smaller podium will make it so the candidates look the same size during the televised split screen.
As many fans and critics probably know by now, Harris and Trump have one of the largest height differences among presidential nominees in United States history.
It’s also been noted that Trump is 6’3’’ while Harris is 5’4’’.
If that weren’t enough, one Trump campaign official said the smaller podium “looks like the kids table” at Thanksgiving.
Of course, critics have had a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some commented with, “The Kamala Harris campaign appears to be concerned about all of the wrong things. Kamala has no explanation for the economy and the open border.”
Another fan wrote, “Wait, her podium will be miniature to make her look bigger.. isn’t that considered a prop and props are not allowed?”
“She belongs on the short bus now she has a short podium, the comedy writes itself! Are they really that vain? This is priceless!”
And then there was this comment as well: “Ah, how could I have missed the crucial issue of a presidential candidate’s height? Clearly, it’s a far more significant and decisive factor than her lackluster policies.”
“Will she be wearing an earpiece as well? Kamala at the kids table while Trump is at in the kings throne.”
So far Kamala Harris herself has not made any comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space.
