General Hospital Spoilers: Who is the Next Man to End Up in Carly Spencer’s Bed?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has been biding her time since her break-up with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison).

She hasn’t rushed to jump back into anything serious with anyone else — not even Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Of course, he was keeping his distance pretty well for a while after he came back from the grave, and Carly only recently learned it was for her own protection.

Now that FBI Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) is dead, one might think Carly and Jason would be free to shack up, but now she’s tangled up in providing an alibi for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

It sounds like she may be forced to marry him to keep him out of prison. Does that mean Sonny is the most likely guy to end up in Carly’s bed next? Not necessarily…

General Hospital Spoilers — It’s a Sham

Sonny and Carly are far from eager to say their nuptials again. They have been married five times while technically only divorced four of them, since one was a vow renewal.

Getting hitched again for the sake of keeping Sonny out of a prison cell is what Carly will do if she absolutely has to, but she really doesn’t want to either.

She’s past the point in her life of wanting to take part in anything that isn’t authentic, and she’s so tired of cleaning up Sonny’s messes. So, while they may be forced to move in together and pretend they’re happily married, that doesn’t mean one of them won’t be sleeping in the guest room.

GH Spoilers Hint Jason is Fair Game

Carly and Jason had a rather sentimental and teary moment when she finally learned the reason he was gone for over two years was because he chose to protect her over being with his own family and letting them know he was safe.

They didn’t have to talk about it too much. Carly knows what she means to Jason, but it was affirming for him to come clean. Still, we haven’t seen much emotion out of the two of them since that exchange, and honestly, we haven’t even seen them together all that much.

If Carly is about to marry Sonny — even for show — it stands to reason that she probably won’t be hooking up with his bestie, behind his back or otherwise. But if I’m being honest, I’d love to see that.

General Hospital Spoilers — Jack is Playing Around

WSB Agent Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) has some kind of interest in Carly that she still can’t figure out. It seems like she wants to though.

But Carly doesn’t really like mind games in her relationships. She prefers transparency and communication — except from Jason, who is allowed to go rogue and not tell her things and gets a pass for it.

Now that Jack has offered Jason a job — which Carly knows next to nothing about — will it be risky for her to get wrapped up in this guy who clearly also has an interest in the man she really loves but can’t be with?

Maybe, but most of us wouldn’t mind seeing Carly take this flirtation between them one step further at this point. Married to a mobster while “cheating” with a federal agent? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
