General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Turns To Brennan To Help Save Sonny!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) actually followed through on his plan to kill FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) in cold blood.

Alone at the Quartermaine family boathouse, Sonny pumped two bullets into Cates, leaving Sonny the victor of their war. However, Sonny didn’t really plan ahead and only the quick thinking of his son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has kept Sonny out of prison so far.

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer gave Sonny Corinthos an alibi

Michael happened along right after the murder, and he quickly sprang into action. He sent Sonny to find Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to provide an alibi while Michael cleaned up the crime scene and eventually called in the authorities.

But now that another suspect may be arrested for Cates’ murder, Sonny may have no choice but to confess. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) found another one of Sonny’s guns in Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) purse.

Alexis quickly disposed of the gun but was witnessed doing so by Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst).

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos may have to confess

Sonny won’t let either Alexis or Kristina take the fall for a crime he committed so he likely will confess if one of them is charged in Cates’ murder. But if he does so, he not only puts himself at risk but also Michael and Carly.

That may lead Jason to seek the help of WSB Agent Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure). Brennan already offered Jason work as an independent contractor of sorts for the WSB but Jason turned him down. Brennan told Jason he would be back when Jason needed his help, and that time may be now.

General Hospital Spoilers – Can Jack Brennan help Sonny Corinthos?

Brennan certainly may have the ability to help Sonny. He already made sure an incriminating audio file disappeared from the FBI’s database that could have put Carly in prison for twenty years.

Perhaps if Jason agrees to work with Brennan, he can make any evidence against Sonny go away as well. Of course, that would put Brennan in Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) line of fire, so he may not be willing .

But the truth is that there is no way Sonny will end up in prison for long, so there’s a very good chance that it will because of a deal between Brennan and Jason.
