This is definitely a new normal for everyone. There’s a new report that suggests Prince Harry is testing out the royal family’s new rules.

But the thing is, he’s not doing anything on his end. Instead, the royals are going to have to somehow acknowledge his upcoming 40th birthday.

That’s because King Charles has implemented a new rule that says all of the members of the royal family have to wish one another a happy birthday on social media.

But the only thing is, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle currently don’t have any social media accounts. 

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex completely stopped using social media back in 2020, when they pulled the plug on their working relationship with the royal family. 

Meghan has also said that she feels much better not having any social media accounts in her life. 

However, just about everyone in the royal family wants nothing to do with the Duke of Sussex, either. This makes wishing Prince Harry a happy 40th birthday on Instagram even more awkward, since everyone knows that he won’t be getting any wishes personally.

Royal expert Jasmine Carey puts it this way: “Although they no longer tend to discuss Prince Harry on Royal Family social media channels, to not share a greeting on his birthday is likely to be considered more of a snub than before and could suggest the family rift is as big as many people believe it to be.”

“While it is clear Prince William has no intention to spread brotherly love this year, the King is thought to maintain contact with Harry, who flew over to the UK immediately after finding out about the King’s cancer diagnosis.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet. We will definitely update you with all of the latest updates once they come in. Watch this space.
