General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, September 5 tease mystery men, intensive pursuits, and frantic lawyering moms.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) deals with a mystery man, Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) on an intensive pursuit, and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is a frantic lawyering mom!
At GH, Elizabeth is in conversation with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) about their mysterious patient, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson). She observes something significant and tells TJ that she believes it could be the key to unraveling his identity.
It seems Isaiah, who was struck on Route 41 by “Agent” Linda Boyles (Amor Owens) while Ava Jerome (Maura West) was in the car, is still out cold.
What could Elizabeth have noticed about Isaiah? Is there a tattoo that rings a bell for her, or is there another detail that catches her eye and hints at his past?
Meanwhile, Jordan is engaged in a conversation with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), expressing her determination to explore every possible lead in the investigation. She is likely alluding to the murder of Special Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington), while also trying to uncover the identity of Isaiah.
To assist her, she has enlisted Brick (Stephen A. Smith) for that task. Although Jordan has stepped down from her role as police commissioner and now serves as the deputy mayor, Brick has observed that she still yearns for her days as an investigator. She plans to leverage her investigative skills to uncover the truth behind Cates’ murder, even if she secretly believes he brought it upon himself!
Alexis is feeling anxious, juggling her roles as a concerned lawyer and a mother. When Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) failed to return her call while she was at Robin’s Bridge, Alexis impulsively tossed a gun into the water.
This gun belonged to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and was taken from his safe by Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), which put her bail in jeopardy.
The situation has escalated, especially with the news of Cates’ death weighing heavily on her mind. Yet, even with Diane’s optimistic news that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) troubles could benefit the Davis family, Alexis remains on edge.
Ava finds herself back at the art gallery, grappling with disbelief over the behavior of a visitor who has just arrived. Clearly annoyed, she questions whether this is some sort of joke.
It seems someone has come to confront her about an issue—could it possibly relate to her unexpected adventure in the Pine Barrens the previous night? She had assumed everything was settled after her conversation with Diane, with Jason present!
Meanwhile, at Sonny’s penthouse, he and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) are still trying to piece together the “alibi,” which Sonny has yet to clarify.
Carly remains in the dark, unaware that only he and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) know he was the one who shot Cates. Despite this, both he and a good portion of Port Charles, including Carly, find themselves in the suspect spotlight.
While Carly has agreed to assist Sonny, she makes it clear that her support has its limits—she’s not exactly in a rush to remarry him! Frustrated, she tells him she won’t go any further with the alibi than absolutely necessary.
It’s unclear if Kristina is simply reflecting or scheming as she thinks aloud, saying, “one down, one to go.” Clearly, she knows about Cates’ murder; that was the topic of her conversation with Michael.
Kristina aimed to take care of two issues: Cates was the first, and Ava is the second. Although she doesn’t appear to be in the gallery facing Ava, it raises the question of what her true intentions might be.
