The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Lucy’s Consequence, Sharon’s Declaration, Phyllis’ Intrusion

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, September 4 reveal that much of the action today centers on the aftermath of a scary car accident involving two of Genoa City, Wisconsin’s teens.

(Lily Brooks O’Briant) role in the accident.

Lucy is Red’s granddaughter and despite Faith’s mom Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) telling Phyllis not to meddle, she does so anyway.

Sharon is in a delicate emotional state so if she discovers that Phyllis disobeyed her, the blonde will likely be one step closer to the edge.

Meanwhile, Lucy’s parents Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) must now punish their wayward daughter. Spoilers tease that Lucy doesn’t agree with her punishment, so will she be sent back to school in Portugal?

Lucy is a teen but even adults have trouble connecting the dots between actions and consequences. Or, they willfully ignore reality. Whatever her parents decide, Lucy is not happy.

As a result, she tries to weasel her way out of the consequences of her actions. Never mind that she’s lucky to be alive, somehow Daniel and Heather have to make it clear to Lucy that drinking is not a good coping strategy.

Y&R spoilers: Nick is a Chill Dad

Elsewhere, Faith is scared for her out of control mom, Sharon. Look for her to talk to dad Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about her latest fears. In the end, Nick tells her she needs to focus on herself, and not try to parent her parent.

At the same time, Nick takes it upon himself to check up on his ex.

Nick is Concerned About Sharon

Sharon would do well to share with Nick the fact that she’s haunted by the man she killed, Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby). This has been going on for a while now, and her hallucinations are exacerbated by the fact that she’s not taking her bipolar medication.

Sharon vows to Nick that her priority is to protect Faith. Does he sense that something is seriously wrong with the concerned mother?

Sharon tries her best to relieve Nick of any suspicions, and tells him that if she needs him, he will be the first person she calls. The problem is, Sharon is in over her head with Cameron.
