She says one thing, but totally means another. Former First Lady Michelle Obama has been slammed for supposedly being a ‘huge hypocrite.’
That’s because during her speech at the Democratic National Convention, she talked about the importance of “hard work and humility and decency” and also talked about her mother and her poor upbringing.
Michelle said, “She and my father didn’t aspire to be wealthy. In fact, they were suspicious of folks who took more than they needed.”
“They understood that it wasn’t enough for their kids to thrive if everyone else around us was drowning.”
It goes without saying that Michelle Obama was heavily criticized for her speech, simply because she and her husband Barack Obama, along with Oprah Winfrey who was also at the DNC, are all mult-millionaires that are preaching to the wrong demographic.
In fact, a lot of people have even taken to social media to comment on the matter.
Some included, “No one needs famous people to tell them how to think or vote. We can make our own decision on Election Day based on what we saw during the campaign speeches and interviews.”
Another critic wrote, “Share the wealth Oprah and Michelle. You can’t possibly spend it all on yourselves. How about funding college for black students. Oprah did partly sponsor a housing subdivision in Houston but it’s a mess!”
And then there was this comment as well: “The last person I need to listen to about being modest is Michelle Obama. Didn’t she go on like a million dollar vacation to Spain with her daughter and mother when Obama was still in office?”
“There was also that trip to Cuba that no one is ever going to forget. Michelle spends money like it’s water, everyone knows what.”
So far Michelle Obama herself has not made any comments about the criticism that she’s received, although at this point it’s doubtful that she will. Watch this space.

I was Soo disgusted with her speech!! Look how much they are worth?! 4 homes, each value over 15 million..look at the black on black violence in Chicago, Netflix paid them over half a million for their life story. Why don't they give back to Chicago, by building a trade school that will train young ppl to be mechanics, Plummers, and carpenters, that will take them out of the gangs!! Instead they come here lecturing ppl about "Having Too Much" HYPOCRITE😡😡😡
