General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Shows Up While Maurice Rides With Joshua, Why?

General Hospital Spoilers reveal that Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) and Joshua Benard (Adam Wright) recently took a drive that had Maurice turning into Sonny Corinthos, his onscreen alter ego. What caused the mobster to come out on a drive with his son?

Joshua Benard Seems Terrified

Joshua seemed to have almost morphed into Adam as he got into the car with his father. As Maurice was doing his fatherly duties. However, Joshua seems to be a bit afraid of driving with his father. What could have happened to bring Sonny out during this trip to allow Sonny to come out and offer his advice?

Sonny may be a tough guy who isn’t afraid of anything, Maurice, on the other hand, is terrified of his son’s driving. As any father of a new driver would be.

Maurice usually manages on his own, however this time his Sonny persona had to come out and join the conversation with himself and his son during their drive.

GH Spoilers: Maurice Benard Tries To Lighten Things Up

Maurice has play mob boss, for over 30 years. Maurice shared a video of himself and his son, Joshua Benard, driving for the first time after getting his license. In the video, posted on X, formerly Twitter, Maurice admits to be scared out of his head now that Joshua has his license. And really needs his Sonny character to make things lighter.

It isn’t Joshua’s driving that Maurice is afraid of, instead, it is the other drivers on the road that make him very nervous. As Joshua asks for Maurice’s advice, he turns to Sonny for a solution to his semi-road rage situation that makes both of them just a bit nervous with a driver comes at them from the wrong direction.

General Hospital Spoilers: What Would Sonny Corinthos Do?

As the driver in front of Joshua stop, apparently to parallel park, Maurice begins yelling for him to go on. Then Sonny comes out to save the day as the guy backs toward Joshua’s car. Once the car stops moving, Maurice tells Joshua he can go around him. Joshua points out that the guy was trying to park.

Then in his partially Brooklyn voice, Maurice wants to teach Joshua to make a u-turn and tells him to go up the road, they are going to do a u-ey. The video ends as the two of them head up the street to turn around. Sonny gets to retreat leaving Maurice to continue his lesson with Joshua on driving techniques.
