Actress Cherie Jiminez, who plays the new Gabi on the hit Peacock soap, recently opened up to Soap Opera Digest about her character and how she plans on getting revenge on her estranged husband, Stefan.
Apparently, she thinks that sleeping with another man is the best way to get him all riled up. In other words, she’s going to stick it to Stefan where it hurts the most.
Cherie told the publication that when Gabi had plans to attack Stefan’s bank account, she really meant what she said.
The actress put it this way, “At first, she’s willing to just walk away from it all, but then she decides, ‘You know what? No. I’m not going to walk away from this without taking you for everything.”
“Of course, being financially secure is underneath there, but I believe it’s really just to stick it to him. And the way that she knows that she’s going to hurt him is to take him for everything that he’s worth.”
Now, as far as who Gabi is going to sleep with, it looks like she’s still got some time to decide.
Cherie previews, “She doesn’t waste time considering anybody but one person.”
“Who would Stefan be hurt the most by if he found out that Gabi slept with him? That’s who she picks.”
“She isn’t really thinking too much about what the consequences are truly going to be as much as [she is focusing on], he slept with Ava, he lied to Gabi on their anniversary, and now it’s time for Gabi to do her due diligence.”
Of course, fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on the Peacock streaming network.
