The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Confessions, Tough Love And Confrontations

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates for Friday, August 30 tease confessions, tough love and confrontations. Nick Newman (Josh Morrow) makes a confession, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) gets some tough love, and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) confronts Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Nick Confesses His Worries About Sharon Newman

At Crimson Lights, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) asks Nick about Faith  Newman (Reylynn Caster) and Lucy; Nick mentions that Faith needs more tests, but they are hopeful.

Red feels relieved and tells her that Lucy is fine, but she is struggling emotionally and is under observation-she encourages Nick to relax, understanding the stress of both kids being in accidents.

Nick reassures himself that Faith is alright and tries to avoid negative thoughts; Phyllis acknowledges this is tough and asks who he can depend on.

He claims he’s okay, but she insists he can lean on her  and  talk about Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei)  feeling guilty since Lucy sneaked out.

Y&R Spoilers: Lucy Gets Some Tough Love From Her Parents

At the hospital, Heather tells Daniel that Lucy’s tests came back good and she might be able to go home soon. Daniel believes they should have grounded her after the first incident and paid more attention to her behavior.

Heather thinks feeling guilty won’t help and realizes they can’t monitor everything their kids do- Daniel is concerned that Sharon is blaming them, and given their past, he understands why.

While Lucy sleeps, Daniel explains that Sharon was trying to be polite, but it was clear she was upset. Lucy wakes up and sees that Faith is not in her bed, she starts to cry-her parents quickly come to comfort her, assuring her that Faith is okay.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Claire Confronts Summer, But  Things Thaw Between Them

Claire spots Summer in the park and mentions that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) took Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell)  to the dinosaur park. S

ummer already knows because Kyle texted her and  asks about what Claire is holding, and Claire replies that it’s a gift for their grandparents.

They sit down, and the atmosphere feels awkward, so Summer tries to make small talk she thinks it must be nice for Claire to have a free morning.

Summer believes their grandparents will really appreciate the gift- Claire shares that she enjoys being part of a family, as it’s a new experience for her.

Summer then brings up Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden)  job offer, and Claire asks if he wants her to take it- Summer responds, “Actually, I hope you don’t.”
