It’s not like Billy and Adam were good friends to begin with, but they will definitely never be the best of friends after this.

Actor Jason Thompson, who plays Billy Abbott on the hit CBS soap, recently opened up about the fallout from Adam and Chelsea’s affair and how the dynamic is going to change between him and Adam moving forward.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Jason says that things are certainly going to get interesting, to say the least.

He put it this way, “I think Billy can see Adam as a father and see how challenging it could be to be in his situation. I like working with Mark [Grossman, Adam] as well.”

“You always know that there’s going be some tension between [our characters] no matter what, and its ebb and flow. I don’t think they’re ever going to be friends. In fact, I don’t think they should ever be friends.”

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Billy And Adam?

“There’s too much water under the bridge but allowing Billy to have these kind of conversations with Adam about being human but Billy really doesn’t want to see him that way, but Billy can’t really help himself to have compassion for another human being in that position. It just happens to be Adam in this one.”

Now, how Adam feels about this and how he’s going to react, remains to be seen.
