There’s a new report that suggests Kate Middleton wasn’t a fan of Meghan Markle from the very first moment that she met her. In fact, the Princess of Wales knew that she would be trouble even before she began causing any trouble.

Kate had her concerns about Meghan because of her attitude towards  the royal establishment. Not only that, but she felt as though Prince Harry’s girlfriend at the time had an agenda.

One source close to the situation even said, “Kate had been wary of Meghan from the start” which is why she kept her distance away from her and continued to do so even after Prince Harry had married Meghan. In fact, the two of them don’t even speak until this day.

Even Meghan Markle knew that something was wrong the first moment that she met her future sister-in-law and of course, Prince William.

During her Netflix docuseries, Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex recalled the first time that she met William and Kate and how awkward it actually was.

The former Hollywood actress put it this way, “Even when Will and Kate came over, and I had met her for the first time… They came for dinner, I remember I was in ripped jeans and I was barefoot. I was a hugger, always been a hugger. I didn’t realize that that is really jarring for a lot of Brits.”

Meghan continued, “I guess I started to understand very quickly that the formality on the outside carried through on the inside. That there is a forward-facing way of being, and then you close the door and you go, ‘Oh, great. Okay, we can relax now.’ But that formality carries over on both sides, and that was surprising to me.”

So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any additional comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space.
