There’s one theory among DOOL fans that suggests Abigail might be Gail and that Mark might be Dimitri. In fact, some people think that Gwen would go to extremes again to do something like this.

Needless to say, many Days of Our Lives fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter on their end.

Many have even taken to social media to comment on this storyline with, “Gwen had plastic surgery to do this. Mark Greene is Dimitri’s new boyfriend. That’s why Leo thought his gaydar was on point with Dr. Greene.”

“Gwen told Leo she didn’t want anything to do with him which takes her out of the equation. Leo bringing up Gwen over the past few weeks might portend this Gwen switcheroo with the fake Abigail. Emily O’Brien also said that she was leaving the show for the time being.”

“This tells me that she won’t be back as Gwen because of the plastic surgery. This would mean that Mark, Dimitri and Gwen are working together.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Interesting theory but I can’t figure out why Gwen would want to do this.”

“I don’t see anything in it for her to go through all of that pain and suffering of surgery and recovery. Plus, isn’t she still married to Dimitri?”

“So she’s well off so it wouldn’t be for the money and I don’t know what kind of revenge she still wants. If anything wouldn’t the revenge would be on Dimitri for using her not on Chad, Jack, and Jennifer? Time will tell and I guess logic is not always necessary.”
