Well, he could be spending time talking about his new policies, but it looks like he wants to do this anyway.
There’s a new report that suggests Donald Trump has a new strategy when it comes to his opponent Kamala Harris, but it’s one that probably won’t sit very well with a lot of his fans and critics.
The former president went on the record to say that he apparently ‘hates’ his opponents and that he’s just going to be straight up ‘mean’ to them on the campaign trail, if that makes sense.
Just this week, Donald Trump responded to Barack Obama’s criticism of him always making personal attacks against those that he simply doesn’t like on the other side of the aisle.
During his latest campaign rally in North Carolina, Trump said, “Did you see Barack Hussein Obama last night taking little shots? He was taking shots at your president and so was Michelle. You know, they always say, ‘Sir, please stick to policy, don’t get personal,’ but they’re getting personal all night, these people.”
“This is just the way I am. I hate my opponent. I hate my opponents. Hillary, Joe, Kamala. It doesn’t matter. I just hate them. I’m going to be mean.”
He then asked the crowd, “Should I get personal, or should I not get personal?”
This comes after Michelle Obama had this to say about the former president: “Going small is petty, it’s unhealthy, and, quite frankly, it’s unpresidential. “It’s his same old con: doubling down on ugly, misogynistic, racist lies as a substitute for real ideas and solutions that will actually make people’s lives better.”
Of course, many fans and critics had a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with: “The scary thing is, his tactic works. His audience doesn’t discern between fact or fiction and they’re happy to repeat any lies or insults Trump hurls without scrutiny (as evidenced by the rally).”
And then there was this comment as well: “I can’t wait for the debate. He is totally terrified of Kamala and he should be. His dumb you know what is like a pigeon who sh!ts on the chess board while Kamala cooly keeps playing the game. A prosecutor vs a guy who can’t even stay awake in court.”
