Singer Lizzo, who has always been very vocal about how proud she has been of her curves, has recently decided that a lifestyle change is needed on her end.

That’s perhaps the reason why she shared a video of herself hitting the gym and shedding weight on her social media accounts.

Yet, a lot of people think that her social media backlash might have pushed her to go back to the gym. 

And it looks like she’s doing it not because of the pressure she’s gotten from the public, but mostly because she wants to look and feel like the best version of herself.

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for the internet to weigh in on the matter.

Many people have even left comments such as, “It’s seems the backlash on social media of her weight has pushed her to start going to the gym.”

“Good for her. Anyone doing something to improve their health deserves respect. She should not be shamed for this at all.”

Another critic wrote, “Kudos. Despite our differences, I wish her lots more success in her weightloss journey—I hope it inspires many of her fans too.”

“And with the inevitable backlash from many in the ‘body positivity’ movement, perhaps it will wake her up to the toxicity of such ideologues.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Good for her! She needed to get healthy so that she can continue to make music and perform. Being obese leads to so many health crises. Good choice, Lizzo!”

“I wish her well on her journey to a far healthier life. The older you get at that weight, the more health issues will pile on.”
