It looks like everyone is searching for a reason to be upset about anything at all.
This time around it seems like Kamala Harris’s husband Doug Emhoff is getting slammed for supposedly being ‘weird’ and inappropriate with his daughter Ella Emhoff at this year’s Democratic National Convention. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
But here’s the thing: a lot of critics also believe that there was nothing weird about Doug just wrapping his hand around his daughter’s waist while she had her hand around her father’s shoulder.
Clearly, they have a good daddy and daughter relationship, but for some people on the right, they found a reason to be bothered by the image.
In fact, some have even taken to social media to weigh in on the matter with comments such as, “It’s weird to hug your daughter? For those saying his hand or fingers were in her belt loop, that’s called a chair and her hand was resting on it too.”
Another critic wrote, “Wait, I don’t get it, isn’t that his daughter? Why is this picture circulating? I don’t see anything wrong.”
“It’s the least weird thing in the world for a child to embrace their dad. A lot of people should try it.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Do you not know what a loving parent-child relationship looks like? Because that’s all I can see in this photo.”
“But then again imagine if Trump’s daughter’s looked like that at RNC hanging all over him?! Media would have lost it!”
And because the only weird thing about this entire ordeal is that some people think it’s weird to even be commenting about it, Kamala Harris has not said anything about it, although at this point it’s doubtful that she will say anything at all.
Instead, she’s probably just going to go home and give her family a hug. Because why not, right?

Well I hug my hug my daughters and son's all the time because I love them and don't consider myself but being anything but a Dad that loves his children

Here's why it would be "weird" if there were a picture of Trump with his arms around Ivanka...he basically told the world if she wasn't his daughter he'd want to f**k her. I highly doubt we'd ever hear those words out of the 2nd Gentleman.
And anyone disturbed by this picture should seek psychiatric care immediately. I've stood this way with my father many times throughout my half a century on this earth and there is nothing weird, lurid, or perverse about a father standing with his arms around his daughter.
Shame on anyone who thinks otherwise!!!
Some people will find anything to bring someone down. I thought it was awesome to seen how much they love each other. Maybe try hugging your child instead of criticizing others.
